Clouds in my coffee.

Wow! I haven’t blogged in awhile however, I’ve still been writing every single week. I send out “The Midweek Thought,” my personal newsletter that touches on different topics if you’d like you can subscribe here http://eepurl.com/bafcNT   and join in on the fun.
I wanted to stop by here and vent some thoughts on a post I just made on Facebook:

“You should always want to be better & do better. Whatever that looks & feels like to YOU, this journey isn't about everyone else.”

As I’m standing in the kitchen making lunch I thought about what my better for today looks like, and it’s the fact that I didn’t use cream or sugar in my morning coffee but only honey and I loved it! You see your better won’t like mine and that’s PERFECT! Although I love social media it gives us a false sense of placement in this world, we begin even without knowing the comparing game and feel like our best isn’t good enough. I’m here to tell you it is, if you are living your life in truth and working towards your goals then it doesn’t matter what anyone else is doing.

Recently, I listened to a podcast of one of my favorite people Ms. Myleik and she said “EXPAND IN YOUR LANE.” If you know what you’re good at then do that and be the best at it and from there you grow doing other things. Stop trying to drive in your lane and the next!

This was just a quick stop and I wanted to share my thoughts, I am going to try to get back to blogging more regularly as well as new spotlights for “She’s a BEAST.”

Have a wonderful & amazing day!
